    Q: What should students wear to class?

    Proper attire depends on the style of dance and should be age-appropriate.

    For students 6 and younger:

    Girls: Any color leotard and tights with pink leather ballet shoes or black tap shoes, if appropriate. Dance skirts are allowed. LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP – Ponytails are allowed.

    Boys: Any solid color t-shirt and black dance pants or sweatpants with black
 ballet or tap shoes.

    Ballet / Lyrical Dance
    Girls 7 - adult: Black or pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers.
 Short dance skirts are permitted. NO BARE LEGS and LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP IN BUN - No Ponytails!
    Boys 7 - adult: Any solid color t-shirt and black dance pants or sweatpants, black 
ballet shoes.

    Hip Hop

    Girls: Any color leotard or tight fitting top, tights or jazz pants, black jazz
 shoes or black jazz sneakers.

 NO BARE LEGS and LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP – Ponytails are allowed.
 No Bare Midriffs.

    Men/Boys: Any solid color T-shirt and black dance pants or sweatpants, black 
jazz shoes or black jazz sneakers.

 Blue jeans are not allowed.

    Jazz

    Girls/Teens: NO BARE LEGS and LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP – Ponytails are allowed.
 No Bare Midriffs.

    Men/Boys: Any solid color T-shirt and black dance pants or sweatpants, black 
jazz shoes or black jazz sneakers.

 Blue jeans are not allowed.

    Tap/Clog

    Girls: Any color leotard or tight fitting top, tights or jazz pants, black jazz
 shoes. Any color leotard or tight fitting top, tights or jazz pants, black tap
shoes or white clog shoes, dance skirts are allowed. NO BARE LEGS and LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP – Ponytails are allowed.
 No Bare Midriffs.
 Blue jeans are not allowed.

    Men/Boys: Any solid color T-shirt and black dance pants or sweatpants, black
