Happy New Year!

We hope you've had a great Christmas and holiday season and enjoyed some time off! We've been busy preparing for the return to classes and wanted to post some information to keep you all up-to-date on what's happening at Dance City.

Classes Start Monday, Jan. 2

We will return to our normal class schedule on Monday, Jan. 2. We're looking forward to seeing you all! Also, the studio will be closed on Jan. 16th for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

2012 Recital Update:

Our annual recital will be on June 2, 2012 at 4 pm. Costumes have been selected, ordered, and most have already been distributed to our dance families. If you don't have your costume, please contact us. Our theme for the recital is "Love Songs" and will feature our dancers dancing along with all of our favorite songs. We hope you will join us for a fabulous show!

Spring Enrollment:

For new dance students: It's not too late to register for dance classes! If this is your first time here, and are interested in registering your child for dance lessons, please click the above "Register" link. When selecting a class, click "Spring Enrollment." Summer/Fall schedules will be updated in April.

10-Year Students:

Dance City would like to recognize our TEN YEAR STUDENTS for their dedication to dancing. These girls have been with us since 1996! Wow!

100 Years of Dance

One of the fun things about dance is how much some of the basics stay the same, while styles can change each decade. This fun video features some great dancing, while also showing how fashion has changed just as much as our styles of dance. Hope you enjoy it!

Today was the first day of Fall classes! We're so excited! We missed these precious babies so much!

Fall Registration! Plus info on Online Bill Pay

It's hard to believe Summer is already coming to a close! But that means it's time for more dancing! Yah!

This post will have some info on our new online registration and account management.

First, thank you for registering with Dance City for our 2011-2012 Dance Year! Our Annual Recital will be June 2, 2012. It's never too early to add that to your calender and share the date with family and friends!

 

Thursday classes will begin August 18th, and Monday-Wednesday classes beginning the following week, Aug. 22, 23 & 24. This way all classes will meet two times in August. August tuition will be half price of Regular Tuition since it is only half a month. August is the only month that the pricing changes. May will be your last month of tuition for this dance year. 

 

This is our first year using our new REAL Online Registration Process. I believe that we may be the only studio in the state of Arkansas to offer this service. We're still setting up our online payment system, but when it goes live, you'll be able to visit our website again to select a Tuition billing plan. This will allow you to pay your bill automatically each month or you can continue to send in checks if that is what you prefer.

All Dance City families will be able to visit our website and look over their online statements through our "Customer Portal" much like an online banking system. This should improve your Dance City experience by letting you look over your account at any time that is convenient to you. The link to your account will always be in the right-hand side of this website.

 

As always, we are working to improve your Dance City Studio experience and welcome your feedback.

Some of our Dance City dancers recently competed in the Revolution Talent Competition this weekend at the Hot Springs Convention Center. And I'm excited to share the results! Here's how they did:

Spring Break Schedule

Can you believe it is already Spring Break? That means we're getting to the final stretch to the recital!

In case you were wondering about our schedule, the studios will be closed March 21 - 26. Classes will resume on Monday, March 28.
